The application can work with both series and parallel connections. It is also possible to choose between the manual and the automatic mode. In the manual mode, the user has to enter the properties of the LED and the resistor. In the automatic mode, the application calculates the resistance of the resistor based on the properties of the LED and the power source.
It is important to mention that, in order to calculate the resistance of the resistor, the user has to know the voltage of the power source and the value of the resistance.
